We have covered two desktop applications, Read2Me and Internet Text Speaker which can convert text to speech or voice. Text to Voice is a useful Firefox Add-on which can easily and quickly read out text from any website and also has the option to download speech as MP3. This add-on could be helpful if you are not able to pronounce words from websites.

Once installed, the add-on shows up on right corner of the status bar. You can select any text using the mouse and then click the add-on on the status bar.

Facebook surpassed in visits to Google. Yes, really popular social network continues to surprise all and sundry with its constant growth. It was in America, a country in which Google continues to maintain leadership, despite the "traspie” suffered at the site of Mark Suckerberg.
Facebook does not win for users and visitors, thereby increasing their contribution and to a probable (and anticipated) to bag out. In this way, and after a while in the same direction, exceeded first visit to Google.

Facebook does not win for users and visitors, thereby increasing their contribution and to a probable (and anticipated) to bag out. In this way, and after a while in the same direction, exceeded first visit to Google.

One study from Hitwise reveals that this happened during the week of 6 to 13 of this month, during which Google had a 7.03% of total traffic, while Facebook reached 7.07%.
And but, observe the graph. Anyone would realize that, in this sustained growth and projection, it is not at all unreasonable to think that the social network has everything to beat the search giant from one moment to another and thus establish itself as the Web’s most visited North America.
To reaffirm data graphs, I found some numbers and growth of one another, Facebook reached a 185% taking into account data from a year ago, while Google did in "only” 9%. Obvious differences.

Constantly checking their email is most likely a common practice among internet users. Many users tend to go to their email inbox frequently to check whether they have any incoming email while browsing the internet or doing some other things. There might be some important email that these users are expecting. However, constantly having to go to your email account might be disruptive especially if you are focusing on some work or reading some important materials. If you are a Gmail user using Google Chrome as your default browser, Google Mail Checker, a free Chrome extension will be a tremendous help.
Google Mail Checker is a useful plug-in to Google Chrome browser which will display the number of unread messages in users’ Google Mail inbox. With this plug-in added to the browser, there will be a tiny icon in the shape of mail added to the menu bar. The icon functions as an indicator which will tell users the total unread email. If there are new unread email messages or users want to check their email, they can click just click on to the button to open their Gmail Inbox. If users want to use it for Google Apps, they just need to right click the icon, select option and then enter the path to their domain name.

Google’s decision to cease its operation in China is edging closer to reality after months of negotiations. China Business News reports that Google plans to leave China on April 10.
The report cites an unidentified Google China employee, but this information has not been confirmed by Google. Allegedly, Google gave its China employees the option of moving to the company’s U.S. headquarters or working for its Asia-Pacific operations.
If this is true, it once again raises the question of what, exactly, is Google pulling out from China: its entire operations or just the search engine, which it has declined to censor? The latter now seems more likely.
In any case, if Google does pull out, it may be a long, long time before it returns. Peter Lui, who was formerly Google’s financial controller for the Asia Pacific region, said that Google’s public announcement to leave had "burnt bridges… There is no way Google can ever come back.”
